5 things to remember cutting glass
1. Wear gloves. My DH gave me some leather work gloves that work great!
2. Wear an apron. If you wear shorts or flip flops an apron is a must.
3. Wear safety glasses. Flying chips are no fun. A piece hit me in my hairline one day when I forgot to put my glasses on and that was too close for comfort.
4. Use the right tool for the job. There are several cutting tools and nippers. Don't try to use the nippers if you want a straight cut and don't rush.
5. Clean up your work area. Don't leave your space with shards of glass around, you will definitely slide your hand over the table and slice yourself. I know! Shake out your apron and vacuum up floor. Keep kids and pets away!
