Resin Altered Cothespins
my mind was all a flutter with some ideas on quick and easy gifts! So I picked up a pack or two.
I traced the shape of the clothes pin onto a sheet of Decopatch Tissue Paper left over from my April Frog Dog Studio kit. After cutting out the shape I put a thin layer of Amazing Clear Cast on the flat side of the clothes pin, using a disposable paint brush.
I then smoothed the paper down with another very thin layer of resin.
If the paper was a little to wide, I simply attached it down the side of the clothes pin with more clear resin.
This is a pretty quick project except for the curing time of the clear resin!
I dug through my previously cast resin pieces and found three red flowers that I attached with more clear resin. I probably should have used glue, but it seems to be holding up so far!
Simple, but Sassy!
You could leave them as they are or glue a magnet to the back. I am giving these as chip clips.
I have a few more sets I am working on!
How adorable are these?
Good luck and
