I'm not sure if it is this way in the rest of the US, but in Louisiana, Cinco de Mayo is an excuse to drink Tequila and Margaritas. It is often mistake as Mexican Independence Day but it is really (according to Wikipedia) "the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862". Either way, in the US and especially in Louisiana, we love Cinco de Mayo and the Mexican culture. To commemorate that day here is a southern spin on a Mexican Sugar Skull.

Mold with any of the molding products ( Amazing Mold PuttyAmazing Mold Rubber or Amazing Remeltand cast a large resin flower with Alumilite White (Amazing Casting Resin). 
I had a cheap flower bracelet and molded the huge flower beads.
